If you need to register to vote for the first time, update your registration, or check the status of your registration, visit the State of Kentucky’s GoVote.KY.Gov website.

It only takes a few minutes to complete the registration form online.

• Click on the New/Update Registration

• Answer a few questions to verify you are eligible to vote. If you have been convicted of a felony, find out more about Restoration of Voter Rights.

• Enter your Social Security Number and Date of Birth

• Provide your First and Last Name, Home Address, and Gender. You may also optionally enter an email address and phone number.

• For a new registration, you are not officially registered to vote until the electronic application is approved by your county clerk. You will receive a notification in the mail.
