The League of Women Voters of Louisville is a nonpartisan, grassroots, public policy organization working to protect and expand voting rights and ensure everyone is represented in our democracy. We empower voters and defend democracy through advocacy, education, and litigation in the Louisville Metro area.
We are part of the League of Women Voters of the United States founded in 1920 with roots in the women’s suffrage movement.
As a non-profit, nonpartisan organization, the League does not support or oppose candidates or political parties. LWV Louisville is fully committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in principle and in practice.
